This team of professionals are the best, very responsive, knowledgeable and supportive whenever I have questions or any concern. They are always there to educate and offer options for the best care of my baby dog! We got a new pekingese puppy, Trooper, in June. My neighbor recommended Cross Creek Animal Medical Center who has taken care of her baby dog, Teddy, all of his life, and he just turned 18 years old! Dr. Hodge, Enico, Paula, and the whole team at Cross Creek have been great to work with. They take such thoughtful and responsive care of Trooper, to get him fully vaccinated as soon as I brought him home, and off to a healthy start. Dr. Hodge later took care of "the surgery" when he was ready and all went very well. Trooper is a happy, healthy, and active 8-month-old baby dog now, and I always know I can count on Dr. Hodge and his team to keep him that way....and yes, Trooper will always be "my baby"! Was a pleasure to see Dr. Hoge, Eniko, and Paula again at Cross Creek. Dr. Hoge was my 2 dogs doctor (Austin, Brooke) when we lived in Tampa previously. Now that I am back here in the Tampa area once again, I have Dr. Hoge taking care of my dog Archibald. I called last minute this past week as Arch needed updated shots for him to attend his Doggie Day Care and they immediately got me in with Arch in that afternoon! Spoke with Eniko regarding my animal that I've been bringing to them as a newer patient for routine cytopoint. I noticed that shortly after the injection his allergies began to become increasingly worse. I called questioning if the injection potency could have been bad, or if there may have been a mistake administering this shot. I was not permitted to be present during the tech appointment when we did go mid March, thus cannot confirm beyond what i was told and what I'm witnessing. She began to become hostile saying she's offended that I would question the medication dosing or the potential that a mistake could have been made. Very unprofessional and clearly my concern was for the wellbeing of the dog, not to get into an argument or listen to someone argue that they are not susceptible to making mistakes. His allergies typically get very bad without this medication, which is exactly what he's experiencing -- as if I missed a dose. It's a real shame because our initial visit was very pleasant and I was certain satisfied at the level of care and personable attention that was given. The second visit and this phone call inquiry not so much. They go the extra mile to create a warm and caring atmosphere. They are certainly experts and we know our little Eddie is in good hands!
